In 1962, the Harrisburg business community recognized the importance of gathering to exchange ideas, information and casual banter. Local leaders began to meet each Tuesday to accomplish this goal. As the group grew in size and stature, it became apparent that a more formal organization should be formed and a regular place to gather identified. “The Tuesday Club” was officially organized at the Penn Harris Hotel, then moved to downtown Harrisburg. Board of Trustees
The Hill Society membership includes leaders in business, regional, state, and federal government. An advisor’s group called the Board of Trustees help to shape the direction of The Hill Society.

You can become a member of The Hill Society through being nominated by a current member. Membership categories include Corporate, Individual, or Public Servant.
